The sub-concessionaire RAL – Rotas do Algarve Litoral informed the Infraestruturas de Portugal (IP) company that it has suspended, "from midnight on July 24th", that is, from midnight this Saturday, "all operation and maintenance activities developed by that sub-concessionaire provided for in the sub-concession contract», on EN00.

In a statement, Infraestruturas de Portugal announces that «consequently, IP, under the supervisory powers provided for in the aforementioned sub-concession contract, will assume the management of the roads included in the sub-concession, namely the EN125, with regard to guaranteeing the conditions of circulation and safety'.

IP's communiqué was sent this morning to the newsrooms by the president of the Algarve's Regional Coordination and Development Commission (CCDR), at the request of that company.
