The third stage of the National Footvolley Championship takes place this weekend, July 7th and 8th, at Rosa Branca beach, in Quarteira.
«After the first two stages of the National Footvolley Championship 2018, after the great moments lived in the town of Carvoeiro (Lagoa) and in the city of Póvoa de Varzim, the main national competition of the sport, now heads to the city of Quarteira, one of the places most sought after by national and foreign vacationers», says the Portuguese Football Federation.
16 pairs (32 athletes) will pass through the Quarteira sandal, with some of the main and best known figures in the sport, including national runners-up Filipe Santos and Beto Correia, athletes with great prominence in national and international footvolley.
The event will start at 12:30 pm on Saturday, July 7th, with the group stage on the agenda, and will continue until the beginning of the night, until the first four finalists of the competition are found.
The race will continue on Sunday, July 8, from 13:30 pm, with the round of 17, followed by the quarter finals and semi-finals. .
Jointly organized by the National Footvolley Federation and the Quarteira Beach Sports Youth Association, the event has the support of several entities, including Loulé City Council, Quarteira Parish Council, AlgarExperience, A Bola TV, A Bola Newspaper , D. José Beach Hotel, Deck Bar, as well as other local partners.
