Tavira Museum teaches children and young people animated image techniques

Children and young people «who like to draw, color, mold, photograph or tell stories and want to learn the basic techniques of the animated image» are being challenged by the Municipal Museum of Tavira to participate in a workshop that will take place between the 6th and July 13.

The “Animated Image” workshop will have the theme of the Mediterranean Diet and is aimed at children and young people between 10 and 16. Participants will be divided into two groups, by age group, the first with children between 10 and 13 years old. and the second with young people between 14 and 16 years old.

«This workshop involves animation, creating a story related to the Mediterranean Diet, a storyboard, drawing, coloring, molding and cutting out characters, foods, objects or other elements. The objective is to create scenarios and, with all this, give life to a story», described the Câmara de Tavira.

It is also intended to «teach the basic principles and key concepts of the animated image, through practical and fun exercises».
