An exhibition, by the artists of Barão de São João, with the theme “healthy land”, opens this Friday, June 22, at 18 pm, in the streets of that town in Lagos.

This time, and under the theme "a healthy land, our heritage", the Artists of Barão and the group Terra Healthy are gathered to reflect and propose reflection on the day-to-day options that allow maintaining biodiversity, health and the preservation of the environment.

Of a more sarcastic or more guiding nature, the works of artists such as Nina Bradley, Gonçalo Cabral, Eva Herre, Carl Zimmerling, among others, reflect, in terms of the materials and techniques used, the art of each one as well as the different points of view of approach to these issues.

The invitation is to attend the church at around 18:30 pm and walk through the streets while the artists explain their works. Once at the Cultural Center, it's time to eat, drink and dance and also buy postcards illustrating the artists' works, with the aim of raising funds for the work of the Terra Healthy group.

Terra Healthy is a group that was created in 2017 with the objective of preventing the expansion of the largest monoculture of avocado in Europe that takes place outside Barão de São João and that is dedicated to the preservation of the environment and dissemination of alternative, clean and biological techniques of agricultural production.
