Entrepreneurs Tiago Fernandes and Jorge Batista, from the Startup Portimão business incubator, launched a study group Free Code Camp, where anyone can participate and learn more about programming.

The meetings take place every Tuesday at 18 pm, at the Portimonense business incubator, located at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, and are free of charge. Those who participate can count on a relaxed atmosphere, learning from each other, sharing knowledge and networking, completely free of charge.

Participation is open to all interested parties, who should register for the online group. The work can be carried out from home, but during the meetings it is possible to «clear doubts and learn in a place with some support». », according to the City Council of Portimão.

«The curriculum of Free Code Camp is geared towards current web technology, from HTML and CSS (front-end) until application on the server (backend) and also by JavaScript and more complex languages», described the municipality.
