The Startup Portimão business incubator will undertake a tour of three schools in the municipality, to «disclose to the young public the objectives and benefits of this ecosystem, as well as the importance of an entrepreneurial attitude», announced the Câmara de Portimão.

O roadshow takes place tomorrow, March 13th. The first crossing point will be the DUAL Center in Portimão, at 9:30 am. This is followed by the Gil Eanes Professional School, at 11:30 am, and the University of Algarve's Portimão center, at 14:00 pm.

These visits take place following the first bootcamp of entrepreneurship at Startup Portimão, in which «eleven projects went from idea to business model and more than fifty participants enjoyed training sessions on essential topics for those who want to start their own business».

The program included «30 hours of initial training, in which tools were given to boost the participating projects, with training modules ranging from entrepreneurship to the financial plan».

In all, 5 modules of 6 hours each were taught, «full of activities and dynamics with emphasis on the training sessions of “Pitch” (presentation of projects) and “Speed ​​Mentoring” (presenting and receiving feedback)».

“Algarve Loves You”, by Rui Castanheira, ” Colher”, by Cláudia Fonseca, “Contact”, by Dennis Atherton and Anabela Lourenço, “Monchique Glamping”, by Filipe Pimenta and Humberto Sério, “Inboundware”, by Raquel Melo, “ LUPA – LabUrbParticipado”, by Lucinda Caetano, “Recy Teky”, by Alexandre Santos and “Happy Manager”, by Joana Santos, were the projects presented during the initiative.
