Portimão will present this Wednesday, February 28, at the Lisbon Tourism Exchange (BTL), 50 proposals for experiences to be lived this year. Fernando Mendes, who will have a new show, and two European futsal champions already have their presence confirmed. 

João Matos, sporting futsal captain, and Bruno Coelho, Benfica captain, will "announce the dates and expectations they have for the Mastercup 2018, to be held at Portimão Arena, on a date to be announced at the time", says the Chamber of Portimao.

Also present will be those responsible for the organization, elements linked to the Portuguese Football Federation and the sports directors of Benfica and Sporting.

The comedian Fernando Mendes will also announce, on the same occasion, details of his new show “Insónia”, scheduled to premiere soon, and which will also pass through the Algarve summer, in the TEMPO concert hall, in Portimão.

Isilda Gomes, mayor of Portimão, will announce the headliners of the Sardine Festival, also previewing some of the details of the preparation of Portimão European City of Sport 2019.

The promoters of Beach2Volley 2018, Pirate Week – “O Assalto a Alvor”, the Windsurfing World Championship, the BPM Festival and the events of the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve will also be present. The presentation will end by serving wines from Portimão.

In total, the Municipality of Portimão will then present 50 proposals for experiences to be lived throughout the year, namely through a box with 50 “Polaroids” that will be distributed to all those present.
