The São Brás de Alportel Philharmonic Band gives a New Year's concert, this Sunday, January 14, at 16:30 pm, at the Igreja Matriz in São Brás de Alportel.
This concert “has the objective of disseminating the work of this band, in the context of training musicians and the public, in addition to wishing everyone a good year through music”, explains the Band.
Dedicated to voice, this year's concert will feature the Choir of the Friends of the Museum of São Brás de Alportel, who will interpret works for choir and an original work for choir and band, the “Missa Brevis” by Jacob de Haan.
The singer Cristina Paulo will also be a guest soloist, who will join the philharmonic band in the execution of two themes for voice and band.
Thus, a repertoire of various musical styles and genres will be presented, without forgetting the traditional “Radetzky” March.
Admission is free. This event has the support of the Municipality and the Parish of São Brás de Alportel.
