The exhibition “O Natal em Postal” will be on display from 18 December to 5 January at the Tavira Municipal Archive.
This is an exhibition that includes Christmas postcards from the Municipality's estate, as well as others from Délio Lopes' private collection.
The objective of the exhibition is «to recall a tradition that, although maintained by few people, has been replaced by the use of new technologies», explains Câmara de Tavira.
«Symbol of the recent past, the Christmas card, in addition to marking a special religious and family time, also represents the work of some known and unknown artists who, through their art, sought to transmit values that are always current», he concludes.
The exhibition can be visited from 10:00 am to 13:00 pm and from 14:00 pm to 17:00 pm.
