Breathtaking aerial acrobatics, meters high, an (almost) killer piano and lots of music. This is the “Klaxon” show, which takes the magic of the new circus to Monchique, until January 1st.
Everything takes place in the tent, set up on the Monchique Heliport. Six acrobats and five musicians infect the audience throughout the show, which is part of the schedule of “Lavrar o Mar” of the “365Algarve”.
On the first night of “Klaxon”, this Thursday, December 28th, there was a full house, with Portuguese, but also many foreigners in the audience. And, at the entrance, everyone was greeted by some security guards very peculiar, from the Senior Academy of Monchique.
Miguel Honrado, Secretary of State for Culture, Rui André, mayor of Monchique, Desidério Silva, president of the Algarve Tourism Region, Anabela Afonso, commissioner of “365Algarve”, and Alexandra Gonçalves, regional director of Culture of the Algarve, also they did not miss the debut of the new circus.
Until January 1st, Monchique is the epicenter of this show, in which music and acrobatics dialogue, in a perfect symbiosis. The shows are this Friday, the 29th, the 30th and the 31st, at 21 pm, and on the 00st of January, at 1 pm.
