A training course on “Adapting to the Aquatic Environment – ​​More than adapting to water” is scheduled for the 7th of October, in the Hall of the Municipal Assembly of Loulé, between 18:00 and 21:00.

According to the Municipality of Loulé, «this action is intended to present the principles that should guide the work of adaptation to the aquatic environment in a dynamic perspective and the broad promotion of aquatic competence or the true concept of knowing how to swim».

The municipality says that this initiative also intends to "awake all those who deal or intend to deal with the teaching of swimming to some fundamental aspects, often forgotten or neglected at this fundamental stage".

This is a training accredited by the IPDJ in the Specific Component of Swimming, and its main recipients are swimming technicians (coaches), physical education teachers, physical activity professionals, and other professionals in the field of education.
