Docapesca launched a public tender, published in Diário da República at the beginning of this September, for the construction of a new fence for the fishing port of Quarteira.
The global investment, in the amount of 220 thousand euros, is financed by the Operational Program Mar 2020.
The work, to be completed by the end of this year, «intends to improve the safety conditions of users of the fishing port and also of adjacent areas, namely on the eastern and western piers of this port located in the municipality of Loulé», explains Docapesca.
The identification of the need to replace the existing fence and to create new sections of fence was carried out in cooperation between Docapesca, the Municipality of Loulé and the Parish Council of Quarteira.
