The singer Mariza will give a concert, "which promises to be memorable", on the 2nd of September, at 22:15 pm, on Rua Trovante, at the foot of Praia da Mareta, in Sagres (Vila do Bispo).
«Considered one of the most important Portuguese singers and one of the most acclaimed international artists, the fado singer promises to involve the audience in a unique show, taking them on a journey through her very own and unique sounds», says Vila do Bispo Chamber.
Thus, «in this special show, her latest album “Mundo 360” will be highlighted, not forgetting other great themes of the artist», she adds.
In her 16-year career, the artist has sold more than 2 million records in over 35 countries, popularizing themes such as “Ó Gente da Minha Terra” and “Chuva”.
Mariza has sung on stages such as the Olympia in Paris, the Royal Albert Hall, in London, the Frankfurt Opera, the Sydney Opera House, the Carnegie Hall, in New York, the Hollywood Bowl, in Los Angeles, «having been the only artist Portuguese performing for more than 16000 people in this space, or the Walt Disney Concert Hall, in Los Angeles», explains Vila do Bispo Chamber.
The show is organized by the Municipality of Vila do Bispo and has the support of the Algarve Tourism Region, Central de Cervejas – Cerveja Sagres, Delta Cafés and Licor Beirão.
