The play “Oxalá”, by the Al Teatro group, will be on stage between 22 and 27 August, always at 22 pm, at the Casa da Cultura Islâmica e Mediterrânica, in Silves.
According to Câmara de Silves, this show proposes “a journey through the Arab cultural heritage that is particularly strong in the south of Portugal, namely, in the municipality of Silves”.
With a maximum capacity of 40 spectators per session, the show, with free donation and duration of 35 minutes, is spoken in Portuguese, English and Arabic.
This project is financed by the Ministry of Culture / General Directorate of Arts and has the support of the Municipality of Silves, Center for Luso-Arab Studies, Paxa Wines, AZB Crafts, Atelier 2L and Amorim Isolamentos.
