The “Focus Group” event, organized by JS Algarve, brought together, on the 1st of July, at the Lídia Jorge Library, in Albufeira, PS candidates for Municipal Elections.
«From Barlavento to Sotavento, several were the applications that came together in an intense afternoon of work», according to JS.
This "group dynamic" gave rise to "10 young proposals for the Algarve that will be part of the regional municipal manifesto of JS", explains that party youth.
Thus, the Algarve Socialist Youth Federation ends the municipal training cycle, which has included, in recent months, training on Parish Councils, Municipal Assemblies and municipal executives. The works were concluded by the secretary general of JS Ivan Gonçalves.
Ricardo Calé, president of JS Algarve, highlights the importance of this initiative: «It was gratifying to realize that association leaders across the Algarve immediately accepted the challenge launched by JS Algarve, and realized the importance of making their direct contribution to the construction of the proposals that could improve the future of the young people they represent”.
«The proposals collected after listening to these important opinion leaders regional will now be sent to all Socialist Party candidacies at local level, giving JS, once again, an important contribution to the 2017 Municipalities. In addition to the 10 proposals that came out of the Focus Group we will send a recommendation to PS applications. That they include a youth agent in all of them», concludes Ricardo Calé.
