In addition to the work on the future Fatacil roundabout, work began today, 28 June, to prepare the repaving of the Lagoa/Carvoeiro roundabout on the EN125. This makes it necessary to widen the alternating traffic zones on the section of that road that crosses Lagoa, causing long lines before and after the city.
Therefore, if you can, avoid passing today – and in the next few days – in this area of the EN125, preferring the inland roads (through Poço Barreto) or Via do Infante.
Even having to pay tolls, taking into account the time and fuel used in the traffic queues, it is worth opting for the A22.
