New crafts, fashion, street food, products good gourmet food of national production and music are the main ingredients of the fourth edition of Lota Cool Market, this year under the motto “Free Spirit”, which will take place from the 14th to the 16th of July, in the Zona Ribeirinha of Portimão, next to the Ponte Velha and the Antiga Fish market.

The Coolest Market in the South, which this year and for the first time lasts for three days, presents «projects by national and innovative creatives, revealing new trends and original products», with the participation of around 30 exhibitors from now on, from from different parts of the country and the Algarve.

A "Pop-Up Market" in the middle of summer and outdoors, from 12:00 to 00:00, and with unique and original proposals from urban artisans, new designers and artists from the most diverse areas, inspired by current trends, fashion and decoration that will make the city of Portimão vibrate.

In the area of ​​Design and New Crafts, the brands Pezinhos d'Algodão, Atelier das Jóias, By Me Artesanato, Light Factory Shop, by Ellie Handmade soaps, Fonte Penedo (Essential oils, floral waters, aromatic herbs for infusions) are guaranteed. Natural Products Tree of Life, Bioco Tradition Biocos, TDF Creations – Cork items, MiMar baby®Accessories for Moms and Babies, Miss Love, Conffeti Eventos, Archivo – T-shirts, Aprons, Cloth bags, Blue Poet Workshop, Wool Canela, BLU.B, São Cruz, MAR, daAnna, Lifecork, OliviaPortuguese, Paintings by He, MRkoolart and Honuhele, Stand Up Paddle Boards.

 

Regarding the good gourmet food e street food, are confirmed the presence of Caipijoca's, Maria Marmita with gourmet hamburgers, Toastie'n'Toast with artisan toasts, Entre Tachos e Sabores, Mosteiro das Hostias, Rock N Doll Caffe, Água na Boca, Fresh Rootz, Chiu! Jam and Company, Bom2, Maria do Mar, In Toasted Bread, Cantinho do Ice Cream, Biscuit Danada, 100% happy, Dom Chique, Malagueta Encantada, Squeez!, Pé de Salsa and Sweet Coast.

This year's edition stands out for three major innovations: it takes place in the summer, lasts for three days (with a timetable from 12:00 to 00:00) and has, also for the first time, the Green Event certification.

To complement this “Free Spirit” environment, this year's musical poster will be very local, with groups from Odeceixe, Lagos and Portimão.

“Pouca Terra” are a band from Odeceixe, with a cheerful sound that calls for dancing, good mood and the “free spirit” of the event – ​​perfect to open this year's Lotta, on the 14th of July.

Saturday night, the 15th, will be animated by a local young band, whose sound goes through the funk and reggae, and who has done some shows of sunset, besides playing every Saturday at Golden, Praia da Rocha – the Salt Kick Band.

The closing on the 16th, will be in charge of TobyOne, who brings their good vibes to close the Big Lotta Cool.

The “Coolest Market in the South” is organized by Teia D'Impulsos – Social, Cultural and Sports Association (TDI), in partnership with Diana Condesso, interior designer, mentor of this initiative.

Once again, it has the institutional support of the Portimão City Council and the Portimão Parish Council.

Lota Cool Market has a partnership with Sul Informação at the media level, in addition to other support such as Sagres, EMARP – Portimão Municipal Water and Waste Company, Algar – Solid Waste Recovery and Treatment (Eco Event), APS (Sines and Algarve Ports Administration) , Solidó, Villa Prana, PTM Down Town and Gil Eanes Professional School in Portimão.
