The concerts by Expensive Soul (Friday) and João Pedro Pais (Saturday) are the highlights of this year's traditional Festas da Vila de Mértola, which take place on the 23rd and 24th of June. The shows are scheduled for 23:00.
In addition to the music by the Guadiana River, the Vila de Mértola Festivals have other moments such as the deposition of a lace of flowers in honor of the former combatants, next to the monument, of a “Be Fit” class at the Leisure Park, in a sport fishing competition, children's theater, traditional dances and the inauguration of the Mural da História, on Rua Dr. Afonso Costa.
On Sunday, at the end of the afternoon, there is a sardine, offered by the City Council.
