Festival Sustent'Algarve thinks about the present and plans the future with music and lectures

A concert by Mauro Amaral, on the 28th of April, at 22 pm, an intervention by Carla Lourenço, of the Straw Patrol project, on “Plástico: from the sea to the plate”, on the same day, at 19 pm, are two of the proposals of the Sustent'Algarve Festival, to be held from April 00th to 28th, at Jardim Manuel Bivar, in Faro, with the motto “Think about the present, plan the future”.

In this initiative, there will also be cinema. For example: on April 28, at 21 pm, the film will be screened disobedience, and on the 29th, at 17:30 pm, the film Lube Job. On the 30th, at 17:30 pm, it will be Given to be displayed.

The festival will have, on the 29th, at 15:00 pm, a workshop on “Horticulture in small urban spaces”, such as balconies and terraces, by New Loops.

On the last day – 30 – there will be a lecture, at 16:30 pm, on “Sustainable Boating: a concept for the future”, by João Bastos, director of the Algarve company SunConcept.

For that same day, at 15:00 pm, the workshop “Decorate your eco-bag – fabric printing”, by Sara Vítor, from the Lura Learning Naturally project.

O Sustainable Algarve it will also have electric vehicles and ecological boats on display, as well as the presence of ecological construction companies, solidarity banks, natural swimming pools, solar panels and vegetarian food.

This free-entry festival is a partnership between the Platform Algarve Livre de Petróleo (PALP) and the Municipal Council of Faro, with the support of Ambifaro and Tavira in Transition.
