SHARE Algarve – Digital Marketing Conference will take place on February 4th, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, in Vilamoura.

This unprecedented initiative comes from two people from the Algarve, Jorge Cabaço and Rita Sampaio, both marketing professionals for over 10 years, and has the support of Vilamoura Word.

Jorge Cabaço leads Freshmint Consulting, a consulting company in the area of ​​Strategic Marketing, and is one of the few trainers in the area of ​​Digital Marketing in the region.

Rita Sampaio has worked in several business groups in the areas of Communication and Marketing.

Both are part of the team of trainers at ETIC_Algarve, a technical school linked to the creative industries, which settled in Faro two years ago.

It was in Lisbon, during the Web Summit, last November, that both took the decision to bring to the south some of the trends and innovations that they got to know at the biggest technology event in the world.

The objective is clear: knowledge sharing between professionals and entrepreneurs, promoting a debate on the evolution and future of Marketing. On the agenda will be the changes that have taken place in recent years and the news from the main digital platforms.

For the first time, the organizers bring to the Algarve relevant names such as Ana Mendes (Facebook specialist), Pedro Caramez (recognized LinkedIn enthusiast) and Marco Gouveia (Google Trainer).

The program also has an interactive component, through discussion panels and debates, in which participants will be able to see their questions answered by some of the greatest experts at national level.

Facilitating the sharing of knowledge, the organizers intend to make a contribution to the development of the region, bringing together some of the most influential businessmen, mainly from the hotel sector, which has a prominent role in this first edition.

For Jorge Cabaço, this Conference “represents an imperative and a mission, since Marketing, in its various formats, is a strategic instrument that we must put at the service of companies and the region”.

According to Rita Sampaio, “The Algarve is above all a brand, and we need to debate how we can add more value to this brand. Marketing and the creative industries have a decisive role in how we communicate the Algarve and how we make it more attractive, not only as a tourist destination, but in all its potential”.

Scott Bennett, Marketing Manager for Vilamoura World, will welcome participants to Vilamoura. “This meeting will bring together some of the best digital marketing professionals with knowledge and practical experience of what the market is and with a passion to share”, he says. Bennett considers the seminar “a first opportunity that is expected to take root in Vilamoura”, he concludes.
