Miguel Araújo, Ala dos Namorados and Sangre Ibérico are the three names already confirmed for the concert at the Feira do Porco Alentejano 2017, which takes place in Ourique, between 23 and 26 March.
Ala dos Namorados and Sangre Ibérico take to the stage on the same night of Friday, March 24. On Saturday night (25), it will be the turn of singer, musician and composer Miguel Araújo, in what should be the biggest flood of the contest.
Ala dos Namorados are led by singer Nuno Guerreiro, having produced, over more than 20 years of career, hits such as “Loucos de Lisboa”, “Solta-se o Beijo”, “A História do Zé Passarinho” or “Caçador of Suns”.
The Sangre Ibérico are an Alentejo trio that crosses flamenco and fado and was made known on the television program “GotTalent Portugal”. Formed by Alexandre Pereira (vocals and percussion, flamenco cajón), André Amaro (vocals and guitar) and Paulo Maia (solo guitar), the group is preparing to edit its first album this year.
Miguel Araújo has now embarked on an entirely solo career, after being made known in the group “Os Azeitonas” and, last year, having filled the Lisbon and Porto Coliseums several times, in his concert alongside António Zambujo.
The Porco Alentejano Fair is promoted by the Municipality of Ourique, in partnership with the Porco Alentejano Breeders Association, and is intended to affirm, in national terms, an agri-food sector that is fundamental for the local economy and for the rural world .
