The chapel of the Convento de São José (Lagoa) received, on Friday night, with full capacity, the opening show of the 17th al-Mutamid Music Festival.
Over an hour, the audience had the opportunity to watch a concert by the Muhsilwan, of Afro-Arab roots and with natural components from the African continent: Muhammad el Bouzidi (Morocco), Wafir Sheikheldin (Sudan) and Aboubakar Syla (Guinea Conakry) .
This Saturday, the same group will perform at Centro Cultural António Aleixo, in Vila Real de Santo António, in a show that is also sold out.
The Festival will continue over the next 3, 4, 10, 11 and 18 February in different cities in the Algarve: Lagoa, Vila Real de Santo António, Silves, Albufeira, Loulé and Lagos.
