The Algarve will be highlighted at boot 2017, one of the largest international fairs for recreational nautical and water sports, taking place in Dusseldorf, Germany, between 21 and 29 January.

In the “Sea of ​​Portugal” delegation, which comprises a group of 19 Portuguese companies and institutions, most of them from the Algarve, there will be representatives from various sectors such as whale watching, cruises, shipyards, marinas, maritime-tourism, diving, surfing, tourism nautical and yacht charters.

According to “Sea of ​​Portugal”, the national exhibitors will bet, beyond the promotion of their services and products, in the dissemination of the regions of origin.

The Algarve will be highlighted with "massive participation" that includes the Municipality of Vila do Bispo, which includes local agents (Cape Cruiser; Divers Cape; International Surf School; UNLIMITED SEA Tourism & Research; Portugal Soul by Xtremewonder; PuraVida Divehouse , Dive School & Accommodation; SeaXplorer Sagres and Wind4all) and the Portimão Tourism Association, which is accompanied by other local entities such as the Portimão Marina, Ocean Revival and Subnauta.

Marina de Lagos solutions, services from Portiate and Abraçar as Ondas, both charter companies based in Portimão, will also be present, as well as Sun Concept-Solar Boat Builders, which will present its SunSailer 7.0 electro solar boat Mt.

The Portuguese representation also includes Palmayachts, which operates in the nautical charter, tourism and nautical events sector, headquartered in Lisbon, and Espinho City Council, which aims to promote its beaches, Arte Xávega and the “Espinho” brand Surf Destination”, as well as the county.

With the diversity and increase of exhibitors (almost 60% compared to last year), «the “Sea of ​​Portugal” acquires scale and takes an increasingly transversal representation of Portugal, showing that we are a country of choice for lovers of sea ​​and water sports'.

“Sea of ​​Portugal” adds that, “from North to South, from boats to surfing, we cover a wide range of products, associated with our history, beautiful landscapes and gastronomy, for those looking for a boot to decide on a holiday or the purchase of one. vessel".

One of the novelties this year will be the presence of Joana Schenker, three-time European champion in Bodyboard, who will «demonstrate her feats in The Wave, the biggest artificial interior wave, new this year in the boot».

Through the “Sea of ​​Portugal” brand, the delegation intends to “bet on a presence with a common image and that spreads Portugality. It allows for a more assertive and effective communication of the diversified offer that Portuguese operators make available in terms of water sports and nautical tourism, in an event that in the last edition had more than 250.000 visitors and the presence of 2.200 journalists».

Sea of ​​Portugal is a collaboration developed by Media 4U, with the support of Jornal Notícias do Mar and Messe Düsseldorf, with the aim of internationalizing Portuguese nautical tourism.
