Therefore, it was decided to evacuate by sea, to take the sick bather, a 35-year-old man of French nationality, to the Port of Lagos.

In an operation coordinated by the Captain of the Port of Lagos, in collaboration with the Captain of the Port of Portimão, the vessel “SR-43” from the Ferragudo ISN Lifeguard Station and a watercraft from the Local Command of the Maritime Police of Lagos.

The withdrawal of the French bather was successful, and the man was disembarked on the pier of the port of Lagos, where an INEM ambulance was waiting for him, which took him to the hospital in Portimão.
