The Almodôvar Arts and Culture Fair (FACAL) will animate Almodôvar between the 8th and 10th of June. The exhibition, which takes place in Campo das Eiras, has already sold out in terms of exhibitors, and around 15th will be present at the event.
Producers, artisans, companies and institutions are registered at FACAL to, according to the Chamber of Almodôvar, «show their services and products and also to promote and do business».
But FACAL will also have music: on the 8th of July, Dr. à Noite and Xutos e Pontapés will take to the stage, and the following day, Quim Barreiros and Boy Teddy will perform.
On the 10th of July, football will have a say in the schedule, with the big-screen broadcast of the final of the Euro 2016, where Portugal could be present if they beat Wales on Wednesday. On this day, in musical terms, the bet is on Fado, with fado singers Melissa Simplício, Miguel Camões and Deolinda de Jesus taking the stage.
The Chamber of Almodôvar explains that “in addition to the recreational and recreational part”, the event “has the objective of boosting local commerce and restaurants, promoting the producers and products of our land, showing our culture and above all , has the purpose of affirming our county as a tourist destination of excellence»
