The 2016 Academic Week venue was filled to see shows by Ricky Boy, Nelson Freitas and DJ Ride. As usual, the crowd grew over the course of the night, and even when DJ Ride performed on the main stage, people continued to flock to “Wonderland”.

The music of Ricky Boy and Nelson Freitas enlivened the students – and not only – and DJ Ride was in charge of bringing the crowd to life, on his return to the Algarve Academic Week.

If when Ricky Boy took the stage, there were still many clearings in the room, when Nelson Freitas performed, there was not much room left for movement. The Dutch singer, of Cape Verdean origin, gave a show with a lot of interaction with the audience, who responded by singing the artist's greatest hits.

The apparent bet on the African rhythms of the Associação Académica do Algarve has a new test today with the performances of Miguel Azevedo and Dj Ademar on the main stage.

For 22:30, the concert by Miguel Azevedo is scheduled. The keyboardist-vocalist promises to liven up the venue with various rhythms from lambada, to corridinho, passing through kuduro.

Dj Ademar, on the other hand, is known for his biggest hit “Já Decided”, which has more than 10 million views on YouTube and is part of several radio Tops including RFM.

“O Teu Boy”, “Drena”, and the most recent music video “Tou a Bater Mal” are some of the songs that should also not be missing in the concert lineup of the Porto-born DJ and producer, who has already won the Best Producer award in the Kizomba Music Awards 2015.

Besides Kizomba, Dj Ademar also plays themes from Afrobeat, Kuduro and Hip Hop.
