The 2016 edition of the Cheese and Wine Fair in the Algarve capital starts tomorrow, Thursday, and can be visited until Sunday, at Jardim Manuel Bívar, in the city's downtown.

At this event, visitors will have the opportunity to discover products from the Algarve, but also from other regions of the country, in the approximately three dozen stands that will be installed.

The exhibitors present will present many delicacies, among which the «famous sausages from Monchique and Ourique, the cheeses of Serpa, Nisa, Moura, Serra da Gardunha and the goat cheeses of the Algarve are highlighted. to be, a wide range of wines from regions such as the Algarve, Alentejo, Bairrada, Beira Interior and Douro», according to the Chamber of Faro, which organizes the event.

There will also be an area with taverns, where cheeses, sausages and regional wines can be tasted. This initiative, with free entry, also includes moments of entertainment and interaction with the visitor, namely cheese, sausage and wine tasting, as well as an exhibition of Algarve handicrafts.

On Friday, at 18 pm, the workshop «Technical Wine Tasting» will be promoted, by the oenologist Gilmar Brito. Enrollment in this workshop is free, limited to 15 places, enrollment is mandatory, and interested parties should contact Ambifaro by phone 289897250.

The fair can be visited between 17 pm and midnight, tomorrow and Friday, and between 24 pm and midnight, on Saturday and Sunday.
