seminar posterZoomarine will host, on April 18, at 9:30 am, the Seminar “Security in Tourist Destinations” which will bring together decision-makers in the park with responsibilities for the administration and direction of Safety and professionals for prevention and promotion of safety in the tourism sector.

The Secretary of State for Tourism and the Secretary of State for Internal Administration are confirmed presences at the event.

The opening session will be attended by Ana Mendes Godinho, Secretary of State for Tourism, Carlos Silva e Sousa, Mayor of Albufeira, Desidério Silva, President of the Algarve Tourism Region and José Ignacio Cobo, Managing Director of Zoomarine .

In the morning, topics related to the “Safety” concept will be addressed, such as “Self-protection Measures”, “Real Cases of Action by the Albufeira Fire Department” and “Inspection in Tourist Developments”.

After lunch, there will be the “Security” panel that will debate “Seasonality and Illegal Immigration”, “Traditional Threats-Answers for the Future”, “New Threats- Planned Crimes” and will end with the presentation of the conclusions, followed by of the closing session by the Secretary of State for Internal Administration, Jorge Gomes.

The event is promoted by Firefighters Volunteers of Albufeira and Zoomarine.
