Pedestrian access to Messines-Alte train station is now easier

The company Infraestruturas de Portugal completed the repair work on the Underpass Pedestrian access to Messines-Alte Station, on the Southern Line.

It was, according to the company, "a simple intervention to enhance the heritage, which involved repairing cracks, strengthening the retaining wall and painting the pedestrian walkway."

Despite the «reduced associated investment of around 1500 euros», the work has «important significance for the population of São Bartolomeu de Messines, which now enjoys better circulation conditions and access to the Railway Station», adds Infraestruturas de Portugal.
