olhão museumWorks by artists from Olhão give life to the exhibition “What I See from My Chimney”, which the Cultural and Cultural Support Association of Olhão (ACASO) will promote between March 4th and August 26th at the Municipal Museum of Olhão.

This exhibition brings together the eyes of ten local artists «on the city, its customs, traditions, scenarios, styles and colors», having as its central element the typical chimneys, according to the Municipality of Olhão.

This is one of the results of the Mar de Gerações project, which «recreates the chimneys of Olhão, giving a more contemporary perspective and thus creating a link between the traditional and the modern, as a bridge between the past and the present» .

«Recyclable materials and techniques that are easy to apply were chosen for the construction of the chimneys, with the chimneys being entirely elaborated in the ACASO workshop and the decoration being at the discretion of the authors», according to the municipality.
