CRESC Algarve2020 launched today, January 6th, a short video to present the Regional Operational Program 2014-2020, using Portuguese sign language.

This is the first time that European Funds, in the Algarve, communicate in sign language to a specific audience on your website, which makes all information available to interested parties, including news, notices, competitions, regulations, advertising rules and access to the 2020 Counter.

The Operational Program has its mission structure based in the Regional Coordination and Development Commission (CCDR ) of the Algarve, in Faro.

The program has 319 million euros of EU funds (ERDF and ESF), with Social Inclusion and Employment being one of the priorities.

David Santos, president of the Board of Directors of CRESC ALGARVE 2020, comments that this action comes “to reduce the communication barrier between the deaf and hearing worlds. The PO intends to make available a brochure presenting the program in Braille soon”.
