A Algarve craft beer «Marafada» will take advantage of the Portimão municipal holiday to sample its two new seasonal beers. It will be this Friday, December 11th, at 20 pm, at Hamburgueria B&B, in Portimão.
André Gonçalves, one of the two master brewers responsible for the «Marafada», explained to Sul Informação that, during the tasting, it will be possible to taste the two batches of “these celebration beers, suitable for Christmas”, which have just been produced, in limited quantities, by the brewery of Algoz.
Each of the batches, which were produced close to a hundred numbered bottles of each, was made “using ingredients from the Algarve that have to do with the season”, namely honey and cinnamon.
«We've been researching what we could add to these beers, to give them festive, celebratory characteristics. They are more beers to finish the meal, to celebrate», explained André Gonçalves.
What came out of this Christmas beer experience can be tasted by whoever goes to tomorrow night Burger B&B, by the couple Filipe Fernandes and Estela Gonçalves, where there will be many more beers to taste, as the first meeting of the Cervejas do Mundo group in the Algarve is taking place.
