Students from the University of Algarve who entered the institution this year with the highest averages received Scholarships of Excellence, worth one year's tuition fees, offered by companies in the region and nationwide.

The official award ceremony took place last Saturday. In it, in addition to the scholarships, the BPI award was awarded for the best master's grade, in this case, the best, since there were two students who had the same classification. The different secondary schools that “provided” these excellent students were also distinguished.
