The second half had barely started and Portimonense scored again. In the 46th minute, Marcel tied the match and gave back hope to the Portimonenses fans. The Algarvians kept the attacking pace, but ended up being the hosts to score. Sancidino scored twice in the game in the 88th minute and secured the three points for his team.

With this result, Portimonense dropped to the 4th position of the II League, having been surpassed in the table by Sporting B and Desportivo de Chaves, although they have the same points as the latter team. This was the second consecutive defeat for the Algarve, after a series of 10 games without losing and four straight victories for the championship.
