The European programs "Erasmus +" and "Citizens' Europe" have opened calls for support in various areas.
Mobility for learning purposes in education and vocational training, with a view to internships for students and recent graduates, employment activities and teaching missions for teachers and educational staff are examples of the possibilities open, according to the Regional Coordination and Development Commission of the Algarve.
All calls related to the «Erasmus + Youth in Action» can be found on the program website, where applications can also be made. «This site also provides information on open applications in the context of mobility for learning purposes, such as the EVS – European Voluntary Service, which allows the exchange of young people, being eligible entities, public and private organizations and Municipalities of the Algarve”, according to the CCDR of the Algarve.
In the scope of the 'Citizens' Europe', calls for projects are also open for projects in the areas: European Memory / Networks / Germination of Cities / Civil Society.
This entity recalled that there are two information centres, Europe Direct and Enterprise Europe Network, installed in Faro, where “a team of experienced and qualified professionals” works with “a profound knowledge of the European and international contexts”.
