Lucas and the guitar (Small)From September 12th to November 7th, the Praça do Mar Art Gallery, in Quarteira, hosts the sculpture exhibition “Ritmos e Melodias” by Teresa Paulino.

According to the Câmara de Loulé, «this exhibition intends to reflect the sounds, colors and patterns of some parts of the world, but in Portugal, with Fado, Portuguese Guitars and all the interconnection between these and the experiences, experiences and reflections artistic'.

Teresa Paulino was born in Lisbon, where she was born in 1970, but currently lives in the Algarve. He studied at the António Arroio School of Arts, completed his bachelor's degree at the University of Algarve and completed his degree in Lisbon, at the School of Arts and Technology.

Stone, bronze and fiberglass are some of the materials used by the artist in creating her sculptures. He also works in the fields of painting, design, illustration, photography and animation.

Among the works of the sculpture stand out “Os Observadores” (Airport de Faro), "The guitar" (Faro), “The Market Seller” (Loulé) or “Os Pescadores” (Quarteira).

«The material most present in this exhibition is fiberglass, but I like to work with various materials and always make new experiences and approaches. For me, creating is dreaming and reflecting on an idea and then working on it and learning in parallel with the various experiences”, says Teresa Paulino.

The Exhibition opens at 19 pm on September 00th. Admission is free.
