Registration for the 2015/16 season at Lagoa Municipal Swimming Pools is now open and the start of another season of classes is scheduled for September 14th. Interested parties should go to this municipal infrastructure, from Monday to Friday between 9 am and 19 pm.
To register, applicants will need to bring their identity card, tax number (or citizen's card) and a passport photograph. Classes are open to the entire population aged over 9 months, in the areas of swimming, hydrogymnastics, free use, hydrotherapy, adapted swimming, water polo and synchronized swimming.
From the 14th of September, the swimming pools can be used between 9 am and 21 pm on weekdays and between 9 am and 13 pm on Saturday.
This sports complex includes three swimming pools: one with 6 lanes, a learning and rehabilitation tank and an aqua gym and spa pool, with water jets and a jacuzzi for leisure and therapy purposes.
«They were built in 2001, having undergone, over time, many transformations and expansions, keeping safety and hygiene as the main priorities, together with the comfort of users», according to the Câmara de Lagoa.
