The village of Moncarapacho will celebrate the Summer Carnival on Sunday night. After the parade, scheduled for 20:00, the party continues with a ball at Largo da Junta, animated by the musical group Gerações.
According to the Union of Parishes of Moncarapacho and Fuseta, «with a centenary procession and tradition in the Algarve, Moncarapacho is also beginning to take root with the Summer Carnival, attracting many tourists to the locality of the municipality of Olhão».
Twelve floats and “hundreds of revelers” will participate in the parade. Admission is free and the event is part of the Summer Festivals, organized by the União das Freguesias de Moncarapacho and Fuseta.
