Olympic medalist Rui Silva will sponsor the vertical run, which takes place on the night of August 1st, at 22 pm, at Aquashow. This was one of the news revealed yesterday by the organization of the event at the presentation of the event, which took place at Fnac de Faro.
Rui Silva will not climb the 200 steps of the Aquashow's Free Fall, but will be watching as many people will be able to enjoy the spectacle from the water park's wave pool, or in the surrounding spaces. The organization aims to take 3 people to the event, and Aquashow will have free entry to the event.
The vacancies for the participants are already filled and some of them were at Fnac to learn more about the challenge that awaits them.
Altogether 50 athletes will climb the 32 meters high of the free fall tower. In addition to the sporting aspect, music will also assume an important role, with the performance of Dj Christian F, until 1:00 in the morning.
“Corrida Vertical Aquashow” is the result of an organization by the Algarve Trail Running and Vertical Race, with the support of Quarteira Night Runners, in co-partnership with the Municipality of Loulé.
