Scenes_street_2015The street theater attracted more than 15 thousand people to Tavira, during the 11 nights of “Cenas na Rua” – International Festival of Theater and Arts on the Street, which took place between 3 and 13 July, in several squares in Tavira.

People of "all ages and nationalities have seen reference works that have already been presented at European festivals and some national premieres", but also "not so well-known projects".

This was the 11th edition of the event, which has been investing "in artistic diversity and innovation with the presentation of theater shows, new circus, magic, poetry and music, gastronomic interventions, among others", according to Câmara de Tavira

In 2015, they performed on different stages: Cie. Barolosolo (France); Vaiven Circo (Spain); Rizoma Lab/Palato (gastronomy in landscape and heritage); Regional Theater of Serra de Montemuro; “Ao Luar Teatro”; Theater of the Sea; Aliskim & Luna (Spain); Luísa Sobral; Armação do Artista and A Oficina de Guimarães (joint theatrical performance); Vítor de Sousa with Luísa Amaro (poetry recitation accompanied by guitar); and Marabunta by Guillem Albà & The All In Orchestra (Spain).
