Living Science Center FaroThe Living Science Center of the Algarve, in Faro, will celebrate its 18th anniversary on Sunday, August 2nd, with a film showing and an astronomical observation session with naked eyes, with binoculars and a telescope.

On Sunday, the doors of the CCV do Algarve, the first to be inaugurated in the country and which is now “coming of age”, will open at 19:30. The screening of the film "L'Oeil de l'Astronome", by Stan Neumann, which will be presented in its original version, in French, with subtitles in Portuguese, is scheduled for 20:30.

The session is organized in collaboration with Alliance Française de l'Algarve, to which interested parties should register, via email [email protected], as the number of seats is limited.

After the movies, there is astronomical observation, with binoculars and a telescope, which starts at 22 pm and ends at midnight, when it is planned to sing happy birthday and cut the birthday cake.
