The Chamber of Faro stresses that "this innovative format is already a consistent bet at an international level, within the few moments of quality in the offer of this theme that exist in Portugal".

The capital of the Algarve becomes, with the Alameda Beer Fest, in its launch edition, the most popular reference in the south of the Iberian Peninsula, attracting large brewers and already consolidated projects, 18 national – including two from Algarve, five from Spain and from a British producer, in addition to a selection of handcraft imported in barrels, exclusive to the festival, from the new Belgian, British and American producers.

A special limited edition beer infused with zest from the famous Orange of the Algarve – the Zeze Double Ale, as well as the Algarve's craft beers, carob moorish and marfada, sign of innovation and entrepreneurship.

The program also includes an authored urban handcraft market, conferences and conversations where the theme is debated and punctuated in the areas of marketing and product R&D, with the damn beer, creators of global beer festivals and juries such as the Spanish David Castro, ending this tour because of the enormous expectation created by the presentation – a first in Portugal – of the beer produced by producer Ian Robinson and his Trooper brand.

The festival will also feature the exclusive presence of the singer and founder of the band Iron Maiden, beer producer, who from the beer point of the Moto Club of Faro, promises to warm up the engines and show the strength of these two great institutions: the Moto Clube de Faro and the world famous Heavy Metal band;

In a "logic of territorial positioning and good practices of communication and dissemination of beer culture", the organizers emphasize the fact that Faro and the Alameda Beer Fest having as special guests for this edition the Andalusian brewers, «a market that has already evolved, but which lacks reference events and festivals where they can show themselves».
