The first victory was against the home team, Búzios, by 27-5, and the second over their direct opponent in the dispute for first place, Coral, by 14-9.

In the first game, and with practically no rest break after the trip, the Portinado youth had some difficulty getting into the match, but gradually they got it right and the goals started to arrive.

In the match that was expected to be the most difficult, against Coral's team, Portinado would eventually outperform and win 14-09.

Despite the three recent defeats it suffered with this team, in two friendly matches and another official (all by one goal), Portinado managed to show its value and conquer the three points that guarantee it 1st place.

The defensive hit and the successful counterattacks were the determining aspects for the Portinado team to have achieved these triumphs.

Once this phase is finished, the next phase will follow, which will be played in the Lisbon region and in Coruche, in two rounds focused on all against all. At this stage, the two teams will be selected to compete in the final stage of the national championship.
