Olhanense got this Sunday an important victory in the fight for maintenance in the II League, by beating Trofense, in Trofa, by one to zero.
In this way, the team from Olhão achieves three important points to try to escape from the relegation places.
Rodrigo António was the hero of the Olhão team, scoring the only goal of the game in the 53rd minute. Trofense couldn't react and it was Olhanense, by Rodrigo António, to be close to extending the advantage in the 73rd minute, but this time, the ball hit the bar and didn't enter.
Before the end, Trofense was reduced to ten units, by the sending off of André Pires, in the 87th minute, for accumulation of yellow cards.
With this result, Olhanense continues in the 20th position, which guarantees maintenance, now with 45 points, but is closer to the 19th, Santa Clara (46) and further away from Braga B and Atlético, who now add up to with 42 points in the II League, when 41 rounds are played.
