The public presentation of the Municipal Plan for Equality and Citizenship 2015-2017, under the responsibility of the Câmara de Lagoa, will be presented on April 22, between 15 and 18:30, in the city's Municipal Auditorium.
The Plan is classified by the municipality as a «strategic document that plans the creation of responses that aim, essentially, to prepare Lagoa as an attractive council to live, work, share and socialize, a council for families and people of all ages and conditions, promoting the reconciliation of family, personal and professional life and respecting and valuing all people without discrimination based on age, sex, ethnicity, religion, disability, sexual orientation, income, level of education or place of residence'.
This ceremony will include the presentation of reflections by young people and older adults regarding their future projection as citizens of Lagoa, within the scope of participatory dynamics coordinated by the Municipality – in partnership with the District Nucleus of EAPN / European Anti-Poverty Network, the Project A Fábrica – CLDS + de Lagoa – involving local agents, elderly support institutions, schools and associations.
