The ideas in the competition were proposed by secondary and university students, aged between 16 and 24 years, to whom the Tavirense municipality launched the challenge of finding entrepreneurial and innovative ideas.
“The competition aimed to encourage in young people the spirit of creativity, initiative and motivation; contribute to a continuous work to develop key competences and promote the interaction of this age group with the environment: companies, associations and local authorities», explained the Câmara de Tavira.
The action was launched with schools last January and had the collaboration of Clube Mentes Empreendedoras of the Dr. Jorge Augusto Correia de Tavira Schools Group, of the University of Algarve, of the Employment and Professional Training Institute, of the Associação para o o Development of Baixa de Tavira and different local and regional entities.
