Loulé will host on January 31st and February 1st the 1st International Festival of Circus Artists. The event, which takes place next to the Hall of Celebrations of the Municipality of Loulé, will feature international artists who will compete for the prizes awarded by the organization.
Among the artists present, the organization highlights the Dias Brothers, awarded Gold at the Montecarlo New Generation International Circus Festival, the Dias Sisters, winners of the Prix Partner's Service at the Monte Carlo New Generation International Circus Festival, the X-Treme Brothers, awarded bronze at the Circus Festival in Valencia, or the Los Jacksons also awarded bronze in Valencia.
César Dias, «the most international Portuguese artist today» will also be present at the event, as guest of honor, and also the winner of several awards at festivals.
In all, there will be 18 numbers competing for a total of 30 artists from various countries such as Russia, Romania, Spain, Argentina, Holland or Italy.
The Festival will have two sessions daily. The first at 16:30 pm and the second at 21:00 pm. On the opening afternoon there will be musical entertainment, and in the last presentation, on February 1st at 21 pm, there will be an awards ceremony.
