The municipal company TaviraVerde was awarded the seal of exemplary quality of water for human consumption in 2014 by the Regulatory Authority for Water and Waste Services (ERSAR).
This distinction was awarded for the second consecutive year, having distinguished 74 entities managing public supply services, selected from over 400 existing throughout the country.
According to a press release from the Municipality of Tavira, “in 2013, TaviraVerde ensured compliance with 100% of the total number of scheduled analyzes (a total of 1031) in the water quality control program, as well as compliance with 100% of all parametric values'.
The award ceremony took place at the LNEC Congress Centre, in an initiative promoted by the newspaper Água & Ambiente in partnership with ERSAR.
