The composer and performer Rita Redshoes will be in Silves on the 27th and 28th of November to participate in the conversation and concert integrated in the “B Side” format, promoted by the Municipal Library of Silves.
On the 27th, at 21 pm, Rita Redshoes participates in an intimate and informal conversation around books, films and music that marked her life, at the Municipal Library. On the 00th, at 28 pm, he will perform solo at Teatro Mascarenhas Gregório, in Silves, presenting his latest album – “Life is a Second of Love” – and revisiting several important themes from previous albums.
The get-together is free, tickets for the concert cost 7,50 euros and can be purchased in advance, from November 7th, at the Municipal Museum of Archeology in Silves and at the Parish Councils of Armação de Pêra and S. Bartolomeu de Messines (weekdays only during office hours). As usual in this format, it is possible to purchase a limited number of tickets at the gathering to be held at the Municipal Library on November 27 (from 21 pm) for a special price of 00 euros.
Rita Redshoes ends the 2014 season of the cultural network programming format “Lado
B” [Library + Teatro Mascarenhas Gregório / Library + Francisco Vargas Mogo Auditorium, in S. Bartolomeu de Messines], after João Afonso, António Manuel Ribeiro, Jorge Palma, Ricardo Ribeiro, Pedro Jóia, Sérgio Godinho, Luís Dams and Custodio Castle.
According to the local authority, «in 2015 new leading musical protagonists are expected, extending the concerts, in rotation, to the new auditorium (with 385 seats) located in the recently opened Pastoral Center of Pêra, allowing for greater geographical coverage and dissemination, at the level of the municipality of Silves, of this format/cultural cycle».
This event, co-produced by the Municipality of Silves and the artistic agency Vachier & Associados, has Rádio Comercial as a media partner and with the support of the Parish Councils of Armação de Pêra and S. Bartolomeu de Messines in terms of decentralized dissemination and sale of tickets.
