Two men who were indicted for crimes of robbery were detained by the GNR in Loulé.
A two-month investigation by the local GNR Criminal Investigation Nucleus, motivated by a coerced robbery in that city last July, culminated in the arrest of the youths, who already had a criminal record for the same type of crime.
Last Tuesday, soldiers from that police force were carrying out two warrants to search homes located in the city of Loulé. Following the searches, men suspected of having stolen 120 euros and a mobile phone were arrested about two months ago.
In the same operation, a mobile phone, several items that are supposed to have been stolen and three war-caliber ammunition were seized.
«The detainees, referenced for the practice of several crimes and with a criminal record for the same type of tort, were present yesterday at the Judicial Court of the District of Loulé, having been applied the measure of coercion of obligation to periodically present the entity police,” added the GNR in a statement.
